any dirt and grime from the floor before applying the sealant and allow floor to dry completely before applying the sealer. The amount needed depends on the square footage you need to cover. For example, if you have a room that has approximately 300 square feet of floor space, then you will need a gallon of sealer. If the area is under 250 square feet, then a quart will do.

For a large area, use sealer spray to apply a film over the space and use the Scotchgard holder and micro cloth applicator to work the sealant across the floor and into the grout.
