Just set up your simultaneous equations with two LaGrange multipliers and solve them to get values for x, y and z. You end up with five equations in five unknowns. There is a good example of this on page 1006 of Stewart 5th ed.

UCLA Math Boot Camp

June 13 – July 28, 2011

The Math Boot Camp is a workshop program offered by the UCLA Department of Mathematics to prepare undergraduate students for mathematical research and life in graduate school. The majority of the workshops are test preparation for the GRE Math Subject Exam, but there are also workshops on Matlab and applying to graduate school. These workshops are available free of charge to all UCLA students and students visiting UCLA as part of an REU program. No registration is necessary.
