You can edit your default notifications for both regular events and all-day events. You can also choose to be notified with device notifications, emails, or both. Open the Google Calendar app . In the top left, go to the main menu . Choose Settings at the bottom. Choose one of your calendars, like Events. Touch the notification to change or remove it, or touch Add a notification.Your changes sync with your computer notifications. For example, if you chose “60 minutes before” on your phone, you’ll get a pop-up notification on your computer 60 minutes before your event.Sound and vibrate settingsYou can change the sound and vibrate settings for the Calendar app: Open the Google Calendar app . In the top left, go to the main menu . Choose Settings at the bottom. Select General. If you rooted your S5 it is pretty simple (and you don’t have to install third party apps):
1) use a file manager and go into root -> system -> usr -> keylayout and find the file gpio-keys.kl ;
2) Open it with a text editor and find the lines with “WAKE” written in them;
3) Go to the one with “HOME” written in it and just delete this word and all the spaces between the number on the left and “WAKE” on the right; 4) Save the file and you’re done;
Open Settings> About on your Android phone or tablet.
If you have a Samsung Galaxy S4, Note 8.0, Tab 3 or any other Galaxy device with Android 4.2, open Settings> More tab> About and tap it.
If you have Galaxy Note 3 or any Galaxy device with Android 4.3, go to Galaxy Note 3 from Settings> General> About and tap the Build version 7 times.
Now scroll to Build number and tap it 7 times.
After tapping the Build Number 7 times, you will see a message “You are now a developer!”
